BIOG 1005-1006 Course Information

The instructor for BIOG 1005-1006 is Allen MacNeill; please call me "Allen" (i.e. not "Professor MacNeill" or "Doctor MacNeill").

My office is located in G-24 Stimson Hall, which is also the Biology LSC. The Biology LSC is located on the ground floor of Stimson Hall, just inside the "downstairs" entrance (at the bottom of the stairs, below the main entrance on East Avenue).

Course Locations and Times
Concepts of Biology (BIOG 1005-1006) class sessions are held on:
Monday afternoons from 1-2:30 in Stimson G1

Office hours (including mine) are held in the Biology LSC, which is open for office hours and tutoring on:

• Monday through Friday afternoons from 1 to 5
• Sunday through Thursday evenings from 7 to 9:30

Course Administration
You can sign up for BIOG 1005-1006 for one hour of transcript credit on Just the Facts.

Students do not have to sign up for credit to attend Monday afternoon sessions or office hours. However, past experience has shown that students who do sign up for credit generally use Biology LSC services more often. In the past, use of BLSC services has been directly correlated with final grades in BIOG 1105-1106:

Therefore, it is a very good idea to sign up for credit, especially if you think you will need additional help with your work in biology.
